Modern Parables for Financial Freedom Parables 1620 edition by Joe Tannian Religion Spirituality eBooks
I was privileged to be honored with a review copy of this author's parables. But I warned him that he's taking a risk because I give fair and honest reviews. So his parables better be good! And mostly they are very good."Scout's 90 Seconds of Enlightenment" sees life and "his boy" through the dog's mind and body. Great concept--although a few of the transitions from dog's mind to boy's and back again were abrupt and need a bit of work. But because I love dogs and am still a boy at heart, I enjoyed this story and its lessons.
"Melvin's GRand dEED" (author's funny fonts) helps to consider the difference between what we consider a "good deed" and personal greed. Too many times in my past I've been fooled, too, so this parable hits home for me. So much so I didn't want to dig deeper in the devotional questions--later, perhaps. And then a parable about hurt and reconciliation. What is missions all about? "Over there somewhere" or "right where I am?" Wow!
